MGM COMPRO introduces state of the art High Power Electric Propulsion Systems (EPU and ESS), off-the shelf as well as tailored, for aviation, marine and underwater, ground, defence and wide range of other industrial and special applications, focusing on very last details in terms of superb performance, power density, efficiency, safety, redundancy, durability and technological innovation.
MGM COMPRO has a long tradition in the development of electric propulsion system units – from large series of systems ready for in-building to special tailor-made units, which change contemporary standards of electro mobility, e.g. in electric aircraft, vehicles, UAVs, UGVs, boats, military application, as well as many other fields where electrification is required.
We are bringing a new dimension to aviation power train systems with our fully electric, multi-core-based systems. For the most demanding aerospace applications, our development focuses on the finest details in terms of superb performance, power density, efficiency and the safety aspects of Aviation standards.
We are offering an EPS system with a delivery power of up to 400 kW. As high-power aviation applications require constant-speed propellers, MGM has developed a gearbox system with integrated functionality for single-action hydraulic control of propellers. This is combined with an extended redundancy system featuring multi-core and multi-winding electric motor structural arrangements.
MGM COMPRO is responsible for the development, validation and production processes, which are controlled by the AS9100 standards. With over 30 years’ experience in the field of electric propulsion systems, we provide our EPS for the most sophisticated applications, creating a new all-electric future of aviation.
MGM COMPRO focus on the direct drive EPS system, which has strong application potential for the vertical propulsion systems of modern UAVs and many other Aviation applications. The safety level is ensured by the topology based on multi-core electric machines. Thanks to our new generation of Electronics Speed Controllers/Inverters based on IGBT or SiC technology, we can synchronise the electrical commutations of each core of the electric redundant motor to achieve maximal efficiency at each possible operational point.
Integral aspects of our electric propulsion systems. Our electric propulsion systems are also designed for use in unmanned ground vehicles, making use of the key advantages transferred from our aviation projects.
