AACi modules are designed exclusively for the power connection/disconnection of loads (e.g. controllers and battery systems) in DC circuits. They are a very advantageous substitute for conventional mechanical contactors as they are significantly lighter and smaller. They require considerably less power control energy. Semiconductor contactors are equipped with a built-in antispark circuit that prevents sparking of contacts/connectors when connecting capacitive loads to power supplies (e.g. blocks of DC bus capacitors used in electronic speed controllers / inverters). This unique feature simplifies overal circuits and reduces their size and complexity. Our semiconductor contactors can operate with one-way or bidirectional operational conditions, depending on the chosen connection diagram. They also offer several modes of operation and uses, ranging from fully automatic to fully controlled by an external controller.
